About Me
My artistic journey commences with capturing moments, whether from a specific place, time, or personal experience. While photographs and sketches serve as initial references, it's in the studio where my paintings truly evolve into distinct entities.
Utilizing diluted, transparent layers of paint, I construct a soft, atmospheric quality, allowing each piece to emanate a subtle glow, illuminating through the layers beneath. Central to my process is an emphasis on light and fluidity, capturing the essence and sensation of a fleeting moment.

My inspiration stems from the understated beauty found in the harmonious interplay between the horizon line, the luminous expanse of the sky, and the ever-changing moods of the day.
I earned my BFA from the Art Institute of Boston in 2001, supplementing my education with immersive experiences through the Mobility program at the California College of Arts in San Francisco and the Exchange program at the Scuola Lorenzo Di Medici Art Institute of Florence, Italy.
My artwork has found homes in collections and exhibitions throughout the United States. Currently, I call the picturesque Finger Lakes Region of New York home, where I reside with my husband and daughter, drawing further inspiration from the natural splendor of our surroundings.
